Fully treated, origional wood wall disc complete with hanger depicting a mystic Hare. The piece measures approximately 170mm in diameter.
The Hare was considered to be a mystical and Sacred animal, a symbol of good fortune, prosperity and abundance. Hares were also associated with the moon and menstrual cycle and was a symbol of fertility.
Ancient Celts beleived the Hare to have connections to the Otherworld and were treated with great respect.
