In the world of traditional witchcraft, the poppet is a symbolic representation of a "good" witch who is believed to bring productivity and safety to a kitchen, while also protecting the home from any negative energies. Gifting a kitchen witch to a friend or family member is considered to be a gesture of good luck.

Poppets are commonly used in spells for various purposes such as protection, good fortune, prosperity, health, and happiness. They are believed to channel these positive energies into the person they represent.

One of my favourite creations is this unique handmade poppet doll talisman that features beautiful witch charms, bells, and a key. The key is a powerful symbol that is associated with doorways to the unknown, knowledge, mysteries, powers, new discoveries, forbidden things, and answers to curious questions. Even in modern times, keys hold a significant value in our daily lives.
